Jack Sinclair, EVP of food for Walmart U.S., talks to tour attendees about our locally grown and healthier food efforts

As part of Walmart’s commitment to locally grown produce and healthier foods, today Jack SinclairAndrea Thomas and others are making a series of visits to a few farms in Virginia. The Walmart Green Room is there, too, and over the next several hours, we’ll share some insight into what we learn.

We stopped by the Gordonsville, Va., Walmart, which carries locally grown produce from all over the state, including peaches from Crown Orchard – the next stop on our tour.

We consider locally grown as produce grown and sold in the same state. So next time you’re in your local Walmart, look for Locally Grown products from your community.
