Walmart Soaking Up Solar Infographic

You may have noticed the signs for weeks — slightly shorter days, colder temperatures — but this past weekend made it official: goodbye summer and hello fall! As you might expect, it is more difficult to generate solar energy when the sunlight is less abundant, but the dozens of solar energy systems we installed this summer — including 14,000 new solar panels at our Buckeye, Ariz., distribution center — will still soak up the sun power so we can continue our commitment to renewable energy sources year round. No matter the season, as a company we’re always working toward our environmental goals. But we’d love to hear from you — does the changing weather affect your environmental choices?

How are you going to live more sustainably this fall?
