Walmart CEO weighs in on ‘Walmart, Libya and Higher Expectations’

Walmart President and CEO Mike Duke, Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan, U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon, World Bank President Jim Yong Kim and former President Bill Clinton participate in “Designing for Impact,” Sunday’s opening session of the Clinton Global Initiative.

In response to former President Bill Clinton’s recent question about the possibility of a Walmart store in Libya, Walmart President and CEO Mike Duke wrote a guest blog entry today on The Huffington Post. For Duke, the question – which was asked during Sunday’s opening session of the Clinton Global Initiative – wasn’t simply about a store.
