Insights into a more sustainable supply chain

This Monday, January 28, Jeff Rice, Walmart’s senior director of sustainability, will be presenting a webinar with the Business Civic Leadership Center as part of their “Evolution of Environmental Innovation” series to offer a deeper look into how we integrate environmental standards into our supply chain, yielding positive environmental—and business–results.

As part of the session, Jeff will discuss our recent pledge to increase the sustainability of our global supply chain, beginning with efforts in China. He will also address other milestones, such as the development of The Sustainability Consortium (TSC), a collaboration with some of our competitors that provides tools and systems to aid with product sustainability, as well as the creation of the Sustainability Index.
