Triple Pundit recognizes Andrea Thomas as a Top Woman in CSR

Andrea Thomas, senior vice president of sustainability at Walmart, was recently recognized as one of 35 top women in CSR by Triple Pundit, a site dedicated to cultivating awareness and understanding of people, plant and profit, the “triple bottom line.” Triple Pundit listed Andrea and Walmart for having “changed the very meaning of CSR”. The list features a number of accomplished women across different industries, many of which work for our partners such as Del Monte, Unilever, The Coca-Cola Company, Pepsico, and Mattel.

Since taking on the sustainability role in 2010, Andrea has been working across Walmart’s global enterprise, as well as with external stakeholders, to embed sustainability into all aspects of the company.
