This last full week of Earth Month is perfect for an extra push to get into the environmental spirit — and to teach your kids to do the same. Our latest #WinItWednesday winners offered some great advice.
Disney joined us for this challenge as a guest judge and offered a $100 gift card to the Disney Store, in addition to the $100 gift card that Walmart supplies. The challenge question was, “How do you inspire your kids to conserve the environment?” Here are the winners’ answers:
- @mcjunkie- Every year it’s clean up the trash by the river with a watchful eye. Then go fishing as a incentive. Happy.
- yamiesworld – Inspire by starting small. During my kids school year I take seeds and help school organize planting day.
- monnie311 – I encourage them to wait until we have a full sinkful and full laundry load before starting any machines.
