Reduce, Reuse, Recycle… Redesign!

Walmart Green Room Redesign

If we look a little bit different to you this month, that’s because we are!

Today we’re unveiling some updates to The Green Room that we hope will make it an even better experience for our readers. Since we launched in January 2012, we’ve aimed to share different ways to bring sustainability into your lives – and invited you to do the same. We think some of these changes will help us do that even better.

At first glance, you will notice our sleeker design, which features more photos, video, and slideshows than before to better illustrate our sustainability news and tips. We are also adding more prominent social sharing tools, interactive polls and quizzes, and even mobile optimization to make The Green Room more accessible when you are on the go. Our ultimate goal is make The Green Room as useful and easy to navigate as possible – and this will help us accomplish that.

We want to hear from you. What do you think of our new look?

I like the looking this new page however I didn’t see it before the change. I do have a question about your green initiative. What about repurpose? I have an invention that is not recycled but it repurposes plastic water/pop bottles. It’s a insect trap with a modified cap put onto a used(repurposed) bottle (supplied buy customer). No chemicals or bait strips just bait from around the house.
Repurpose is giving a product another use before recycling it. Would this be included in your green imitative ?
