More than one and a half million young adults will graduate from college this year. It’s a great achievement and they’ve undoubtedly studied hard. But what about the other lessons you learn in college? Just as some use college as time to become more independent, make new friends or explore new hobbies and interests, we hope that many also learned lessons that will help them be better stewards of the environment. So, in honor of all of the graduates out there, here’s the #WinItWednesday challenge for this month:
Recent grads and old, what sustainable practice did you pick up in college?
Remember, it’s not just students from this year’s graduating class that may have picked up a trick or two. This contest is open to everyone, no matter when you graduated.
Prizes:
We’ll select three winners who will each receive a $100 Walmart gift card. Those winners will also have the chance to be featured on The Green Room and on The Leaderboard, an editorial destination on Mother Nature Network that celebrates innovators and visionaries who are improving the world.
Rules:
Remember, it’s easy to participate:
- 1. Follow @WalmartGreen on Twitter
- 2. Reply to the question in 140 characters or less, between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. CST
- 3. Be sure to include the #WinItWednesday hashtag in your tweet
