Walmart CEO speaks with world leaders at CGI 2012
Walmart President and CEO Mike Duke participated yesterday in “Designing for Impact,” the opening session of the Clinton Global Initiative. Sustainability was one highlight of the discussion, which he shared with Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan, U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon, and Jim Yong Kim, president of the World Bank.
Answering a question from President Bill Clinton, who served as moderator, Duke emphasized that Walmart recognizes the opportunity and responsibility that comes with being the world’s largest retailer. We’ve selected a clip above, but you can view the entire video on CGI’s website.
