Anyone who takes long-term medications knows that it can be difficult to remember to take them daily. Earlier this month, 4,600 Walmart and Sam’s Club pharmacies introduced new packaging for select prescriptions that has a dual benefit: it is sustainable, and it helps patients stay on schedule with their medications.

Walmart Green Room interviewed Rob Kaplan, senior manager of sustainability, to learn about the Sustainability Hub and Walmart’s goal to cut 20 million metric tons of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2015.
